Hello!
My name is Kim Valnes. I am an artist, located in South Dakota.
I love bold color, and using a variety of paint mediums. I specialize in up-cycled home decor, painted furniture, and canvas painting (art). I am open to discuss a custom painting to suit you. If you are looking for an original work of art, I may be able to assist you.
Some of you may remember the painting that Jeremy had on his set in the previous studio (American flag, combat boots, angel wings above the boots, with a cross in the foreground). It is one of my original creations. I am the same person who painted Jeremy’s smarty buck (picture of Donald Trump on it), the swamp donkey bucket (with the donkeys on it), and the RINO bucket (with the Rhino on it). You may have seen the buckets on the LFA telegram page in the past. (Smiley face)
I have been selling my work on line for the last few years, mainly from social media sites, as DIVAbyDefinition Studios. In 2020, I started “The Paint Cabin”, which is a physical location where I sell my work, teach kids how to paint, and more. The Paint cabin is an actual cabin that is located at Camp Dakotah (campground) near Sisseton, SD.
