I would like to take just a min to give you a little background on how I got started in the embroidery embelishment industry.
Thirty years ago my dad saw an industrial embroidery machine in action. Being a farmer for the majority of his life he had always worked very hard. As he watched the machine run, he thought to himself, what a great way to work smarter not harder! A few months later we had a machine and I was off to the races to learn how it all worked.
The first couple of years were intense to say the least. We learned very quickly that we needed to learn how to digitize (convert art to stitches). Also Sewing on a curved surface can be tricky, since we really wanted to focus time on selling hats, we knew we had a lot to learn. I went to trade shows that offered training in both California and Texas. Until finally I found an expert in New Jersey that offered a boot camp style training. This expert had created stitch files for Disney, The NFL, NBA, Warner Brothers and so many more! So I headed to the Big Apple for trainging! I spent 10 days, 10 hours each day, of intense training. When I came home I was eager to put my lessons to work. I homed my skills by digitizing any art I could get my hands on.
As life has gone along I have digitized over 100,000 different stitch files. I have created stitch files for companies that have sought out licensing to sell their branded products with The NFL, NBA, PGA, and achieved approval to do so.
After having spent a great deal of time working for corperate America creating stitch files, I decided it was time to get to work for myself. The American dream was my first priority. I took the leap and started with an Etsy shop in 2020! Now, my business is growing so I have officially created this web sight. I am looking forward to getting to know each new customer.
